After having the bottom of our boat fixed at Custom Yacht, we headed in the month of October to Galesville to get our standing rigging fixed. This is all of the lines that keep our mast from falling over. After having our rigging inspected, it appeared that “falling over” is what our mast was headed for. A 10 day job turned into three weeks. As the snow storm, and cold weather came through, I thought of heading South in the month of December. It was a very cold thought. Fortunately it turned out that we had a warm passage South. Here are pictures of the yard we were at.
